Have you always wanted to live like the life of a pilot, taking control of an aircraft and soaring to great heights? Well here is your opportunity with our flying lesson in a Texan light sport aircraft on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. You will enjoy the view from the highest office on the coast, and experience the thrill of flying from a height that allows you to see from the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast to the superb views of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Look out for your 500 foot low level experience too, and feel the adrenalin surging through your veins!
Your flying lesson commences with a briefing on the functions of the aircraft controls plus all you need to know to enable you to control the aircraft on your first mission. After your briefing, the instructor will take you through the pre-flight inspection on your aircraft before you take your place in the pilot's seat.
Your instructor will talk you through the start up, taxiing and take-off, then you take to the sky for your first real flying experience! The flight is to the south of Caloundra airport and you can choose to book a 20,30 or60 minute flight. During this time you will have hands-on experience in flying the aeroplane. You will fly up to an exhilarating 2000-3000 feet on your flying lesson!
Following the flight there will be an opportunity for you to discuss any questions you have on flight training with your instructor.
NOTE: The 2012 - 2013 season rates are valid from the 1st April 2012 to the 31st March 2013. The 2013 - 2014 season rates commence on the 1st April 2013.

You can choose to book a 20,30 or 60 minute flight. Please allow an extra 30 minutes briefing before your flight. Bookings can be made seven days per week during daylight hours. Saturdays and Sundays require five days notice due to availability.

GUIDELINES
You must be 15 years of age. Weight restrictions apply if you weigh over 120kg - please contact us if you have any concerns as alternate arrangements can be made.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable clothing and footwear is required to enable you to climb in and out of the aircraft. High heels are not recommended. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and proper shoes and sunglasses.
