DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER....
Folks, flights in our DC-3 are extremely weather reliant. We only operate them in good to excellent flying conditions. This is for comfort reasons, not flying safety per se.
We fly at low altitudes, where the air can be turbulent to various degrees, resulting in a sometimes vibrant aviation experience.
Lots of people love this, but most don't.
These are pleasure flights, and we regard them differently to our business and medical charters in our jets, which are required to go in any legal flying conditions.
For DC-3 flights, if the weather's less than good, we cancel.
So, we ask you to please understand if this occurs to your booked flight, and we recommend you have a plan 'B' if you're celebrating a special event in your life.
Lately, for whatever reason, adverse weather conditions have meant we've been canceling more often, sometimes as much as one in four scheduled flights.
We'll advise you as soon as we can if there's some prospect of this, and will do all possible to rebook you if it occurs.
We hope you understand and accept that it's in everyone's best interests for this policy to be maintained.
