This half day tour is a fantastic tour taking in Perth, Fremantle and Cottesloe Beach giving you a great insight into the city and the alfresco lifestyle Perth people enjoy. Available with an optional Swan River Cruise from Fremantle back to Perth.
Starting in Perth city, the tour passes the WA Cricket Association ground at East Perth and the Venice-like harbourside development at Claisebrook. We move past the historic Royal Mint to the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens, while here you can walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving a birdseye view of Perth's city skyline. Take a look at one of North West Australia's most famous landmarks, the 750-year-old Boab Tree, similar to a tree once used as a prison.
Later, we continue to one of Perth's best beaches Cottesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle. An optional diversion to the Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach shows where the first settlers landed.
Back at the 'Cappucino Strip' time is allowed for a walk down the main street, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes or perhaps find a bargain at the markets (Friday, Saturday and Sunday only). Part with the group here if you wish to explore other famous attractions. Make sure you take in the Maritime Museum, Fremantle Jail (own expense) or the E Shed Markets.
Alternatively, continue the tour by bus back to Perth or join the optional Swan River Cruise and cruise back along the Swan River from Fremantle to Perth.
Alternatively, join back with the coach and return to Perth by road travelling past Perth's most exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jettyand the famous Swan Bell Tower (and new Ferris Wheel) returning at about 12:30pm.

Pick ups are available from selected accommodation within Perth, East Perth, North Perth, Fremantle, Northbridge, Scarborough, South Perth and West Perth. Pick-up times may vary up to 15 minutes depending on traffic. Please be ready and waiting on the roadside 10 minutes prior to your stated pick-up time. NOTE: No drop-offs after morning or afternoon half day tours. No pick-ups for afternoon tours.

GUIDELINES
Child fare applies to children aged between 5 and 12 years inclusive. Concession prices are available to holders of a senior or pensioners cards (Australia, UK, Europe, New Zealand, USA), full time students, YHA/VIP/NOMAD members.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
We suggest a casual standard of dress. As Western Australia has seasonal climate - you will need cooler clothes for our warm winter (the nights can be cool). Some hotels do require a neater standard of casual dress in the evening, i.e. shirt with collar and covered shoes for gents. A sun hat and sun cream are a good idea during the summer months and even in winter in the nor thwest. Don't forget your camera and binoculars if you're a wildlife enthusiast. We also strongly recommend personal insect repellant.
