A journey combining three of Western Australias renowned northern icons, the magical wild Dolphins of Monkey Mia, gorges of Kalbarri and the mystical Pinnacles Desert. Tour includes Superior Accommodation and most meals.
Day 1: Perth to Monkey Mia (L,D)
We journey north via the 'lobster fishing' town of Port Denison where we stop for lunch by the waters edge. We continue north across the Greenough Flats, better known for unusual 'leaning trees', travel via Geraldton and Northampton to the world heritage listed area of Shark Bay to our overnight accommodation located at the Monkey Mia beach where the dolphins come in. Accommodation: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, standard room, private facilities
Day 2: Monkey Mia to Kalbarri (B,L,D)
As our accommodation is located right at the dolphin interaction beach, you can spend extra time at the waters edge this morning where you may encounter a visit by the famous Monkey Mia dolphins. As they are wild, dolphin appearances can’t be guaranteed but coming in at regular times through the day to interact with people has been a ritual for many years.
This afternoon we visit the town of Denham for lunch, incredible Shell Beach and Stromatolites before travelling south to Kalbarri. Known for wild flowers (Jul - Oct) and magnificent rocky landscapes we visit Hawks Head, one of the areas most spectacular red river gorges in the Kalbarri National Park. Accommodation: Kalbarri Edge Resort, standard room, private facilities
Day 3: Kalbarri to Perth (B,L)
Homeward bound, we enjoy sightseeing along the Kalbarri coastal gorges then travel south breaking for lunch at the rock lobster fishing village of Cervantes -gateway to the renowned Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon-like landscape and truly one of Australia's most mystical experiences. Time will be allowed to stroll among these limestone spires and take photographs, with arrival back in Perth at approximately 7.00 pm.

DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
We suggest a casual standard of dress. As Western Australia has seasonal climate - you will need cooler clothes for our warm winter (the nights can be cool). Some hotels do require a neater standard of casual dress in the evening, i.e. shirt with collar and covered shoes for gents. A sun hat and sun cream are a good idea during the summer months and even in winter in the nor thwest. Don't forget your camera and binoculars if you're a wildlife enthusiast. We also strongly recommend personal insect repellant.
