Appropriately refreshed, we'll head to the famous Koala Conservation Centre to meet some of the friendly locals. We'll walk among the treetops and view wild koalas, often within touching distance.

We'll also explore some of the island's most scenic coastal highlights, including the northern wetlands and the south coast's impressive surf beaches and rock formations including Pyramid Rock.

At dinner time, we choose from the freshest of local produce, not forgetting that this is a pristine island with fabulous access to the Southern Ocean's abundant fish stocks.

As the sun sets it's time to take part in the Ultimate Penguin Experience where we visit a secluded beach to watch the local fairy penguins emerge from the surf to waddle across the beach to their homes.
