The Story Bridge Climb is a unique adventure experience and the most spectacular way to discover Brisbane. With fantastic views across Brisbane City and River, The Story Bridge Climb will be an experience you never forget.
You'll be exhilarated by the breathtaking panorama of Brisbane and its surrounds. You will hear interesting and factual commentary by experienced climb leaders, including history and heritage information of both the city and the bridge.
Story Bridge Climbs are available at 4 different time periods each day including; Dawn Climb, Day Climb, Twilight Climb and the Night Climb. Each time of day holds its own special magic.
Dawn Climb
Climb in the cool, crisp morning air as the city slowly comes to life, under the influence of the sun's first rays.
Day Climb
Brisbane prides itself on the clear blue skies and moderate temperatures for the majority of the year. There is no better way to enjoy the 360 degree uninterrupted views of Moreton Bay and Islands north to the Glasshouse Mountains, west to Mt Coot-tha, and south to Lamington National Park.
Twilight Climb
Experience the transition between day and night and admire the ever changing city skyline as the sun sets and the city lights up.
Night Climb
Capture the intimacy and the brilliance of the city lights, towering city-scape, and marvel at the reflections and the movement of boats on the river as it snakes its way through the city.
NOTE: The 2012 - 2013 season rates are valid from the 1st April 2012 to the 31st March 2013. The 2013 - 2014 season rates commence on the 1st April 2013.

Story Bridge Adventure Climb operates 3 climb sessions year round Wednesday to Sunday, excluding Christmas Day and 3 days in August / September for the Riverfire Festival (dates for Riverfire Festival can vary from year to year).

GUIDELINES
Ladies who are pregnant can be up to 20 weeks / 5 months and still be able to climb. Please note, you do climb at your own risk and are required to wear a safety harness throughout the duration of the climb.
Anyone who is 10 years of age and older who can sustain moderate physical exertion can take on this challenge. All persons climbing must be 130cm and over.
Concession rates will apply to those who are 60+ years of age and children aged between 10-16 years. (Minimum height - 130cm). Please note all children climbing must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - Maximum of 3 children per adult. ID will be required when checking in for climb.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
All climbers are supplied with a fully enclosed climb suit. Our climb leaders will talk to you about the weather conditions on the day and will suggest what would be comfortable to wear on the climb in conjunction with your climb suit. Accessories provided include (but not limited to) hats, handkerchiefs, sunglasses, lanyards, all weather jackets, fleece jackets and sunscreen. All climbers are required to wear fully enclosed rubber soled footwear.
OTHER
Climbs depart at 20-minute intervals from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point. River ferry transfers from the city take just five minutes & car parking is also available nearby.
Personal items will not be permitted to be taken on the climb including cameras, videos, pagers, mobile phones and handbags. We will provide each climber a locker in which personal items can be stored.
Story Bridge Climbs are open for operation during most weather conditions. Climbs may be re-scheduled in the event of an electrical storm, hail or excessively strong winds.
