Your Hot Air Ballooning at Cairns with Fitzroy Island Experience will last over two fun filled days with Day 1 taking you on your unforgettable 30 minute Hot Air Ballooning experience. Your 30 minute Hot Air Ballooning experience will not be easily be forgotten with your experience being captured in a 8x6 inch quality photograph, taken while you are high above the ground!!
Your photo lab quality prints are produced during breakfast, so you can take them with you, or mail them to family and friends ...a must have souvenir!!
Soon after landing you will be treated to a scrumptious Aussie breakfast at Mareeba Heritage Centre, before being returned to your accommodation or Kuranda with plenty of time to enjoy any other tours in the same day.
Your adventure does not end just yet as you are treated to free transfers to the beautiful Fitzroy Island, with departure starting at 8.30 am. The ferry cruise to the island by fast catamaran takes only 45 minutes, keeping to the calm waters of the coastline and passing spectacular scenery along the way.
While you are visiting Fitzroy Island you can choose to take part in a number of activities that are available on the island. Try to fit in as much as you can before you have to return back to the mainland at 4.30pm.
Snorkelling and kayaking equipment can easily be hired along the beach, or choose to wander around the island through one of the National Park walking tracks.

available on request for $10.00 per person which is payable directly to the tour provider.

Please allow 6 hours for Hot Air Ballooning experience with the acutal flight last for 30 minutes. Day 2 at Fitzroy Island transfer is an all day experience with the morning departure commencing at 8.30 am with afternoon transfer departing at 16.30 pm.

GUIDELINES
You should stand a minimum of 1.4 metres in height. You must be able to climb into the basket, unassisted and stand for flight. Anyone who has a medical condition must advise us at the time of booking or seek medical advise. Ballooning is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable walking shoes and clothes are recommended. Be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses and a camera. For your visit to Fitzroy Island please bring a beach bag with swimmers, towels, hat, sunscreen and any other personal belongs that you might need at the beach.

$25.00 fee is payable for civil aviation and other insurance charges, take off/landing fees, transfer costs, GST and administration charges is payable on the day of ballooning. $5.00 per person Pay on Board fee for insurance charges, Cairns Port Authority per passenger levies, fuel surcharges, Government taxes and charges and administration charges is payable on the day of Fitzroy Island.
