Enjoy the unique experience of a silent gliding flight from 4,000 feet. If you wish, your instructor will allow you to have some "hands on" flying experience and teach you the basics of flying a sailplane. With the 4,000 Feet Deluxe Gliding Flight you will not want to come back down to earth.
Glider flights commence with the glider being towed to your chosen release height by a powered "tug" aircraft.
After some safety instructions and demonstrations you'll take the front seat of your sleek glider, with your instructor seated behind you.
Once the required height is reached your qualified instructor releases the glider from the tow and the wonderful experience of "silent flight" commences.
You will take in the magnificent views of the Great Dividing Range (and its stunning mountains including Mt. Buffalo and Mt. Buller) to the south and east and the great plains to the north.
Then, when it's safe to do so and if you are keen, you can fly the glider "hands-on" and take control after we demonstrate the basics to you in the air. As the 4,000 Feet Deluxe Gliding Flight comes to a close, you will gently glide to a smooth and short landing.
Aerobatics may be available on the day for an extra $30 subject to strict conditions.

Only you and the qualified instructor will share the flying: it is strictly a one-on-one experience.
GUIDELINES
Gliders are weight critical. Special arrangements may not be possible for people over 100 kg, with a maximum height of 6'4.
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Casual clothing. Be sure to wear sunscreen and sunglasses and bring along your camera.
OTHER
You will fly a training two-seater glider with a qualified instructor in the back seat, to give you a clear view from your front seat. You will have to sign an indemnity form prior to your flight. Some limited aerobatics may be performed if requested and at extra cost in some cases.

CAN I EXTEND THE VALIDITY OF MY GIFT VOUCHER?
Extension options are available upto an additional 3 months from the date of purchase.
If your voucher has not yet expired, we can extend your voucher for an administration fee of $10.00 per month / per voucher (upto three months).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us within 30 days of its expiry, we can extend it for an administration fee of $30.00 per month / per voucher (one month only).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days after the expiry of your voucher, the voucher cannot be extended.
