Come and learn the first important steps of kiteboarding. This lesson is the fastest and safest way to learn and develop solid kite skills before you attempt to use a board. Remember, 80% of kiteboarding is kite control so you'll need to know the basics before we can really get started!Your private introduction into the world of kiteboarding will last for an hour and a half!
As part of your lesson you will be introduced to the following: selecting the correct equipment, local site orientation, the wind window, safety systems, flying power-kites, full sized 4-line inflatable kites, set-up, launching/landing, the power zone, basic kiteboarding etiquette - all the essentials for an extreme ride!
Please note that this lesson is only to teach you the essential first steps of kiteboarding. As there will be a lot to learn, all tuition will take place on land and not in the water. If your after a full on experience why not book our Kiteboarding 3 step 'Passport to Ride' Course (EX691).

The price quoted is for one Kiteboarding Lesson in St Kilda. This is a private 1 hour and 30 minute lesson. So you get all the attention and learn this amazing sport the best way possible!
GUIDELINES
This is available to anybody from 10 years old onwards. A moderate level of fitness is required however it is not a strength based sport whatsoever so just about anyone can do it!
DRESSCODE / WHAT TO BRING
Bare feet on the sand is the most comfortable. Wear comfortable clothes and don't forget to bring a pair of sunglasses.

HOW LONG IS MY GIFT VOUCHER VALID FOR?
All gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
CAN I EXTEND THE VALIDITY OF MY GIFT VOUCHER?
Extension options are available upto an additional 3 months from the date of purchase.
If your voucher has not yet expired, we can extend your voucher for an administration fee of $10.00 per month / per voucher (upto three months).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us within 30 days of its expiry, we can extend it for an administration fee of $30.00 per month / per voucher (one month only).
If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days after the expiry of your voucher, the voucher cannot be extended.
