Located just over three hours' drive south of Perth on the South West Highway, Mullalyup is the northern gateway to the beautiful Blackwood River region. It is positioned in an area which farms fruit, vegetables, beef, cattle and sheep.

Mullalyup developed after the building in 1860 of the Blackwood Inn and was gazetted a town site in 1901. Mullalyup is best known today for its farming, working potteries and buildings listed by the National Trust.

An ideal holiday base, Mullalyup is central to all south west tourist attractions. A licensed a la carte restaurant can be found in the inn. Mullalyup offers bed and breakfast, guest house and lodge accommodation.
