Brisbane-Cairns Road Trip: 27Sep-04Oct (room for 2pp) Travel Forum

3 of us (2 males/ 1 female) are renting a van to make a road trip from Brisbane to Cairns. We plan on stopping off at all the sites along the way. No set schedule as we can decide on what we want to see as a group. Anyone wanting to join our group is most welcomed!!!

Fraser Island and Whitsunday will be a must stop for us. We plan on doing a 7-9day trip and anyone is welcomed to come along and help pitch in on fuel and food. We plan on camping, carrying our own coolers (to include the beer!) and food.

Been to many places in the world and this has been one of the top things I have always wanted to do�road trip Oz! I live for photography (don�t leave home without my Canon 5D) and scuba diving. I�m American but have been working in Dubai for the last 3 years. Nick (American)�well I think he is Australian anymore as he�s always calling me �mate� and using words like �bloody� but he�s always up for an adventure and funny as hell. He goes to college in Adelaide and his girlfriend is from there I think?
We turn the van in on 04Oct in Cairns and Nick and his girl will fly back to Adelaide. I�ll stay in Cairns till the 10th until I have to fly back to Dubai.

So if you play guitar, know some great spots along the way or double as a tour guide, can talk to Kangaroos or have free time to kill�let me know and we�ll talk. Attached are pictures of us and so far we have 2 seats open total.
