Hi there, Who in melbourne is going to cairns, end oct/begin nov 2009. I am a 40 yo dutch mum, (with no kids traveling), my reason to hitch a ride is that i want to bring my 7week old baby cockatoo back to cairns, but is too young and not allowed to travel by airplane. I can pay some petrol and be of good company along the 3 to 4 day drive, can also help driving.....got clean driver license.
I'll fly down to melbourne end of october, then to hitch a ride back to cairns soon after with baby bird.... give me a call or email a.s.a.p maybe see ya...
