it was our first trip to cairns, I was very excited about being outdoors. Im not a good one for animals and bugs. Our first adventure of the day was to visit one clear running water hole. I ended up clinging to a rock nearly swept away to be eaten by crocs, english backpackers had to make a chain with their bodies to save me. Next Daintree Rain Forest. I had all these images of me relaxing 24/7. This ended being 24/7 of nightmares. First i got chased by a wild hog, a large spider dropped on my face during the night, a large rat sort of animal waited at the door of our room, walked over snakes in pitch darkness, couldn't change for 3 days as the moisture made everything so damp you couldn't open your suitcase. I even tried to dry the bed with the hairdryer. I couldn't wait to leave the next morning but that night it rained so hard that all the roads got flooded and we had to stay another night! finally got out with shoes and suitcases covered in mud. Great Port Douglas here I come. First day there I decided to get a massage but felt I'd got a sore back from the expereience went to a chriopractor there she stuffed up my back so bad that I ended up in hospital in emergency had to go home business class because I couldn't sit down for too long, ended up not going back to work for 3 months and couldn't walk or get out of the bed for all of that time. But i'm back to normal now and just got back from queensland this time all in one piece.

1).
How hot is it in Queensland right now?
I am from Germany (I wrote the story underneath yours) and it seems that we are the hottest country in europe at the moment.
we are having 29 degrees (expecting even more in the next couple of days) which is even hotter than the temperatures in spain or italy!!
bye for now
