Trial Bay

Trail Bay is a great place for sailboarding and sailing. Walk around the crescent-shaped beach and discover the wreck of one of three vessels which where stranded there in early 1970s. Trail Bay Goal, located in Arakoon State Recreation Area, is a must-see. Don't miss the view of Trail Bay from the guard turret at the western end of the complex. The goal, first occupied in 1886, is mostly built form pink granite quarried nearby.
