My girlfriend and I have been thinking about travelling up the east coast of Aus next October.
We were thinking about buying a van at the start of the year and decking it out to travel and camp in. Are there any good sites to look at van customisations? *kombi vans or similar
when stopping for the night: where do we sleep legally? do you stay in a pub/caravan park every couple of nights for showering?
I've done some fruitpicking in the past in my local town, if we wanted to get some work: where do we find it? should we find some backpackers and follow them around?
Whats a good route to take and recommended places to visit? (from Ballina heading south to around Sydney - or - Ballina heading north to about Rockhampton)
Any other tips would be appreciated!
