Pilliga, pronounced - Pill - ig -a Pilliga, is situated 105km west of Narrabri and approximately 60kms north west of Gwabegar. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to drive from Narrabri to Pilliga (80kms approximately being sealed road). Pilliga is accessible by road from five directions and once an important centre on the Cobb & Co route.
