Cape Tribulation is a headland and locality in northern Queensland, Australia. It is located 110 kilometres north of Cairns. Cape Tribulation is in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, home to some of the oldest rainforest on the planet, and this Word Heritage listed rainforest is adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef.
It is a tropical paradise, with glorious beaches lining its coastline, backed by spectacular rainforest. If relaxing on a beach doesn't sound like you, then why not explore the beautiful Cape Tribulation.
There are a number of great walking tracks around the rainforest, including the pretty Dubuji Rainforest Boardwalk. You can also join guided walks around the rainforest.
Other activities and things to do around Cape Tribulation, include visiting the Bat House where you can get close to the furry creatures, horse riding, as well as going out to the Great Barrier Reef. There are a number of companies which offer day trips out to the reef, many with food and snorkeling gear provided. Although if you get the chance to go diving you should definitely give it a go.
There are a number of beautiful resorts around Cape Tribulation where you can stay and relax. Several of the accommodation places also have their own restaurants.
