Apollo Bay
Apollo Bay is a popular fishing town, and if you would like to join the action then hop aboard a fishing charter or a scenic boat cruise if you'd prefer. You can also go hang-gliding or horse riding, or alternatively just relax on the beach.
One thing you shouldn't miss out on are the spectacular views from Mariner's Lookout. It is situated in the hills just behind Apollo Bay where there is a short walking trail looking out onto the coastline. There are also a couple of museums that you can visit and other attractions to keep you amused.
There are a variety of places where you can stay from campsites and backpackers to motels and units, with many situated along the Great Ocean Road itself. There are also some excellent places to eat out, around the town and just out of town.
