Duaringa

Duaringa is located 107 kilometres west of Rockhampton along the Capricorn Highway.

The small town is the essence of a small rural community. The old picture theatre, now a house, was once the life and soul of the town.

There are camping areas with hot showers, a hotel for dinner and a drink. The Mackenzie Park has a man-made waterfall and also home to the native budgeroo trees. Free Hot showers and camping amenities are available.

Although Duaringa is small in size, the town has a police station and courthouse, ambulance station, a hotel, post office and newsagency, a primary school, three churches, a sports complex, and a library.
