Richmond is one of the oldest suburbs in Melbourne and has a large immigrant background. Situated just behind the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the edge of the CBD, Richmond has a unique vibe that attracts people from all backgrounds and nationalities.

Some of the best bargains in Melbourne can be found on Richmond's Bridge Road. There are an abundance of factory outlets and second hand stores offering the top fashion and accessories.

Opened in April 2003 Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, at the top of Victoria Street and the corner of Burley Street offers a range of shopping options. Here you can find around 70 stores and includes a health club, cinema and bowling alley.
