The majority of North Sydney is taken
up with business offices, however, there are a few points
of interest. On Lavender Bay is Luna Park, the famous amusement
park offering great views and an opportunity to relive your childhood.
East of the Sydney Harbour
Bridge at Kirribilli Point are the homes of the
Govenor-General and Prime Minister, Admiralty and Kirribilli
House.
|
To the West of the bridge amongst the offices you'll
find McMahons Point, hosting a number of cafes on Blues Point
Road.
Along the coast there are several pretty coves
and parks on the harbourside, including Cremorne, Neutral Bay
and Mosman. Mosman also hosts Taronga Park Zoo,
home to loads of Australian animals. Like the other coves you
can get to it by ferry from Circular
Quay.
Balmoral is North of Mosman, offering beaches,
picnic areas and water activities.
