Brisbane Suburbs

There are some fantastic heritage walking trails around Brisbane within various nearby districts and coastal regions. Many of the city suburbs feature fantastic historical buildings worth seeing. Heritage Trails can be found at Fortitude Valley, Hamilton, New Farm, Paddington and Windsor. Further afield, along Brisbane's coastline, are Cleveland, Manly, Redcliff and Sandgate which also feature some pleasent walking trails.

There is plenty to do in and around Brisbane for everyone. The wonderful parkland and bushland makes it ideal for both relaxing and exploring. You can also see various animals in one of Brisbane's Wildlife Parks or join a tour into the mountains and bushland.

East of Brisbane is popular Moreton Bay, which hosts wonderful coastal scenery and a wide range of water sports and game fishing.

Just off of the coast of Brisbane is the wonderful Moreton Island and North Stradbroke Island, which makes a great place to visit for the day as well as to stay and relax for a while. You can also visit the lively Gold Coast or Gold Coast Hinterland just south of Brisbane, and the beautiful beaches which surround the nearby coastline. Alternatively, travel north to the Sunshine Coast, featuring more stunning beaches and attractive Hinterland (home to the Glass House Mountains).
